Super Saturday 2014!

Time to sign up! 

This year's activity will take place Saturday, November 1st from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are able, go ahead and attend ward temple day in the morning, and then come join us once you're back! Feel free to come to the activity late or leave early as your schedule requires :)

Here are the choices for this year's crafts. You can also view a display of each item in the Relief Society room on Sunday the 19th and Sunday the 26th this month to see them in person.

Personalize your glass baking dishes

$2.00 per name

Once your dish has been "etched" it will still be dishwasher safe!

Ball garland
$6 per set of 24 small balls

Supply your own string of lights for this craft [no need to bring the string of lights with you on craft day]. The balls used for this project will be pre-made to save time and hassle. Please sign up for your preferred color of spray paint for the balls: red, white, cream, or silver. Glitter will be available to add as well.

The balls you decorate will pop right over the bulbs on a string of Christmas lights :)

Family blessings

$13 per project

*Supply your own craft paint as the frames we will have are unfinished - this will allow you to choose the exact color you'd like for your project.*

Paint for the background is included in the cost and will be supplied. The little tags hanging under the headings will be painted with chalkboard paint so you can erase and update them as your family grows!

"I love you because" frame 

$18 per project

Insert is painted in chalkboard paint - you can remove the glass to use chalk, or if you find a dry erase or other marker you like, you can write directly on the glass

Please indicate your top three color choices for the frames when you sign up, as they come already painted. Options include brown, teal, orange, white, red, green.

Please indicate color choice when you sign up as there are 5 options: cream silk, grey silk, black silk, navy silk, and natural rope

 Peppermint-striped candlesticks

LED tea lights are included! We will also have twine or raffia to bedazzle for these as well!

Map Art
$6.00 per project

One 12 x 12 canvas with up to 4 wooden tags for labeling - of course feel free to use whatever layout you'd like!

*Bring your own maps/map printouts of important places in your life and we'll have a template you can use to cut them out*

[For the display, I simply used the maps program on my computer (could also use google or bing maps) and zoomed in as much as I wanted on the city. I then printed that out and used it for the project!]

Rope Chargers

You will get 50 ft of rope per charger to accommodate for personal size preference

See the template options below for layout choices - when signing up please use the letters by each to indicate which you'd like. Please note that the smaller heart-shaped template (E) will be on a 7.25" square board, and the larger two (F & G) will be on 11" square boards.

**Due to the high expense of quality materials for the hand-painted linen towels we have decided to drop that project**

Please bring your own switch plates from home - when you sign up, please indicate how many you will be bringing to mod podge.

The deadline for signing up is midnight on Wednesday, October 22nd. The deadline to pay is Sunday, October 26th. Sign up sheets will be passed around in the folders of each auxiliary as well as located in the RS room with the display crafts on Sunday October 19th. For anyone who is unable to sign up in person, the only other way to do so is by contacting Mary Duncombe via email to sign up for your chosen crafts. She can be contacted at maryduncombe@gmail.com

Sign ups and payment MUST be completed by the dates above so that we are able to get all the necessary materials for the crafts. Please give your payment to Jaime Hauglid, Melessa Paynter, or anyone in the Relief Society presidency.
